Lower Queen Anne Mixed Use Project

Syanpse installed a rainscreen system by Cereclad on the S face of this 5 story mixed use apartment building on Lower Queen Anne Hill in Seattle.  We also installed 110 aluminum windows and 6 aluminum storefront doors.  The windows and doors on the the 3 concrete walls were trimmed out with metal break shapes.  The waterproofing products used on the exterior were; Bosig Winflex wrb, Winflex preformed corners and Bosig multiflex for pans.  This project was challenging in that traditional nail on windows were used in the concrete openings where a typical installation would use a storefront window system.  This required great care in the penetration flashing waterproofing of those openings to ensure there would not be a water intrusion problem.
