Foreman/Lead Carpenter

We are currently seeking to hire a Foreman/Lead Carpenter to join our team to support our rapid growth! We have a very thorough COVID-19 Safety Plan to help keep our employees at work while keeping them and our clients safe. Synapse Construction is a full-service Seattle siding company that has been local for over 10 years! Our expertise is exterior construction for new construction, remodels, and custom design projects for both residential and commercial applications.

Role Overview:

Lead a crew of 2-5 siders/laborers on 1-2 jobs at a time (still have bags on while not supervising or reporting).
First and foremost, you are responsible for keeping everyone safe. The next priorities are quality control, efficiency, & client satisfaction.
Report daily hours for your crew and provide updates to clients and management on job status/progress.
Establish, communicate, and evaluate progress towards field goals, benchmarks, and established budgets.
Monday – Friday: 7 am – 4 pm, mostly in the greater Seattle area

Qualifications & Requirements:

Proven success as a Lead Carpenter in construction. Exterior Construction is a major plus, but we’ll train Exterior Construction to the right candidate who also is:
- Professional, and is looking for more than just a job
- Passionate about quality construction, customer service, and company culture
- Business-oriented / entrepreneur who wants to bring ideas to the table and collaborate with management
- Driven and is excited to help build our business to become the best it can be
- Will come to work every day on time with a positive and professional attitude
Technology use required – emails, daily reporting, time tracking, change orders
Valid Driver’s License
Professional history of accountability and honesty with provided references
Compliance with COVID-19 construction mandates – masks, sanitizing, temperature checks, and more
Must have or obtain within first 30 days of employment: OSHA 10 Certification and CPR/First Aid Certification. Must obtain Articulated Boom Lift Certification within the first year. (All certification courses will be paid for by Synapse)
